Naturecan's Sustainable Future
Sustainability
Programme
At Naturecan we track all of our products from the seed being planted, to the product being delivered to your door.
Along that journey it's our mission to reduce our carbon footprint and give back to nature.
This is the start of the journey, and as technology and the world around us evolves we'll be looking to improve whenever we can.

Eden Reforestation Project
We Plant a Tree for Every Order
We feel deeply connected to our environment and nature, that's why we want to give something back to our planet. We have decided to plant 1 tree for every order in our shop.
Why?
We plant trees because they are essential to create a more sustainable future. Yet 900 million trees are destroyed worldwide every year. By planting trees we can help to reduce extreme poverty in Kenya, Madagascar and Mozambique, because on the one hand the villagers have work on site by planting countless trees, on the other hand we support the reforestation of the destroyed forests.

Our Partner
Eden Reforestation Project
In order to realize our ambitious goal and to plant a tree for every order, we have partnered with the Eden Reforestation Project.
Our goal is to help thousands of people in the poorest areas of the world.
How?
Every time you place an order, we plant a tree. In doing so, you will help people who live in extreme poverty achieve a permanent income and support them in changing their lives. For a successful and lasting afforestation it is important to get involved with the local villages and communities and to work with them. Eden Reforestation Projects uses its "Employ to Plant" method to support members of the local communities where we plant. With permanent employment, people living in extreme poverty can afford everyday items such as food, shelter, clothing and medicine.

Doing Our Bit
Coastal Clean Up
We were thrilled to team up with Mindful Chef for their amazing Coastal Clean Up initiative. Back in September we headed to our local beach to collect as much plastic and rubbish as we could.
In partnership with Marine Conservation Society (MCS) as part of The Great British Beach Clean we were delighted to take part and do our bit for our planet.
Plastic is not only detrimental to marine life; it also ends up on our beaches, parks and in rivers. There’s been a sharp rise in single use plastics due to Coronavirus, as well as the impacts that the easing of lockdown brought, with large amounts of litter being left on beauty spots across the UK. This is why this years Coast Clean was particularly important.
On the day, across the UK, a whopping 1,796 people volunteered to tackle pollution including us and 34,000L of rubbish across 347 locations - the equivalent of 68,000 plastic bottles - was collected.
We are planning on doing this again very soon in the future so keep your eyes peeled on our socials to help.
